American/Canadian Champion Minuteman Hide The Cat "Spike"
Spike came to Australia and stayed at Schonhardt Kennels for just over 12 months leaving a total of 13 Australian and New Zealand Champions here.
This little dog produced a lovely type with beautiful heads, extremely harsh coats and correctly sloping topline with an attitude in his puppies that took over the ring.
Spike returned to Canada and has since passed away aged 13 years but has left a lot of champions here to carry on his tradition. We hope to have more "Spike" puppies in the future as we have more frozen semen in storage. New Spike puppies will be coming out into the ring in 2010 to continue his winning ways.
Spike maybe gone but we hope he will not be forgotten and his progeny will carry on his tradition of true breed type.
